Our community care team brings together individual members with expertise in domestic social welfare legislation, human rights law, mental health and mental capacity law ,with our discrimination and equality law and education teams.

It assists individuals, local authorities, care providers, charities and NGOs with claims and advice relating to social services and health entitlements, utilising judicial review procedures to challenge and defend decisions. A particular area of our expertise is where community care issues intersect with other legal issues, such as migration matters, prison law, mental health detention, children in care, children with special educational needs, and victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
